Who I Am

I'm Christina, a 16 year-old Christian who has too little time for all her crazy plans. I live in a small-ish city in Washington with my three younger brothers, parents, dog (Mandie), and chickens (I never know how many we have...). I have always been homeschooled but this upcoming year I'll be doing the Running Start program at the community college. I could stop there (and save you a lot of reading) but I'm not going to; I'm going to bore you to death with facts about myself. Here are some things that describe me:

Seamstress
Actress
Leader
Baker
Wanna-be Photographer
Laugher
Talker
Reader
Pianist
Doll-lover
Outdoorsy

I love to see stuff as stories and photos. I am constantly wishing I had a camera with me; or that I dared to actually write down my story ideas. I am rather insecure about my writing.

I don't ever get into any of the popular stuff (i.e. Twilight, One Direction, Hunger Games, etc.). In my opinion, all those popular books are poorly written (*sigh* if this is offensive to you, well, you'll just have to get over it or leave, sorry), and I only listen to Christian music.

I also have a doll blog called Simply Dollightful and a Pinterest account. I'd love it if you checked them out.

Anyway, that's pretty much me. I have a lot of hobbies, a great life, and an awesome God. What else could I ask for? Nothing. Thanks for reading! I hope this wasn't too much information at once (I tend to ramble), and I'd love it if you followed!
Christina

  4. From a fellow Homeschooler- Awesome blog! Your writing is amazing, you should feel really proud of it!
I agree about the popular books and music being poorly written. (Though I do enjoy the Hunger Games!), they lack creativity and imagination. Everything about them is empty... And now look at me, my intended few sentences has turned into a fifty page book! Anyway, again great blog! Keep it up!

  5. Thanks so much!
Yeah, a few years ago I read this series called "Books of Bayern" and I mostly enjoyed it. The story was interesting and all, but the romance was over the top, and the writing was poor. But I can understand liking those books. :)
